In our research, we develop and analyze efficient algorithms for cluster analysis and for other problems from the fields of algorithmic data analysis, from the field of network design or from combinatorics in general. Aspects of our work include algorithms for big data, the study of more practically relevant problem formulations and the connection between theory and practical applications (algorithm engineering).
